Little Me Preschool Halstead Coming Soon
Little Me Preschool Halstead will be opening soon, with Ofsted registration currently pending.
We will be open for 48 weeks of the year, closing for:
• The last two weeks of August
• Two weeks over the Christmas period
Opening Hours
We will offer flexible childcare from 8:00am – 6:00pm.
Families can choose from a range of session options, including:
• Morning sessions
• Afternoon sessions
• Preschool day (9:00am – 3:00pm)
• Full day care
Funding Information
Government funded hours can be used between 9:00am and 4:00pm.
Any childcare required before 9:00am or after 4:00pm will be charged at £8 per hour.
We look forward to welcoming families to our new Halstead setting very soon.

My Story
Hello, I’m Lisa Marshall, the owner of Little Me Preschool.
I have worked in Early Years education for over 26 years, and during that time I have been lucky enough to work my way up through the sector, gaining experience, knowledge, and a real passion for supporting young children and their families.
Ten years ago, I opened my first Little Me Preschool setting in Braintree, followed by our second setting in Silver End. Creating welcoming, nurturing environments where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn has always been at the heart of everything I do.
Opening a new Little Me Preschool in Halstead is something I am incredibly proud and excited about. Halstead is a growing community, with many new housing developments and an increasing need for high quality early years provision. I wanted to bring another warm, inclusive, and child centred setting to local families, offering flexible childcare that supports both children’s development and the needs of busy parents.
Little Me Preschool Halstead will provide a calm, curiosity led environment for children aged 2–4.5 years, with a strong focus on learning through play, natural resources, and creating meaningful early experiences. We are also passionate about inclusion and supporting children with additional needs, working closely with families and professionals to ensure every child thrives.
I can’t wait to welcome families into our new Halstead setting and become part of the local community.
